Datuk MY Ahmad is to be remembered as a singer and musician for Asli music. He won the Bintang RTM competition and his voice is unique but nice to hear.

He passed away on August 30,2009 as we prepare for our National Day Celebration on August 31, 2009 and as we undergo the 9th day of fasting in this month of Ramadan. Our condolence to his family members and may his soul rest in peace. Alfatihah
