Seminar on Islam in Sabah

Persatuan Sejarah Malaysia Cawangan Sabah is planning to have a seminar in the first quarter of 2011 on Islam in Sabah in collaboration with the relevant Agencies like USIA, ABIM, UiTM and others, there are not many resource materials on this subject and the Association is desirous of collecting the data on the coming of Islam to this region and its propogation. It is now working on the budget and the proposal.

Cooperation with UiTM

PSMCS also plans to have a coopeation with UiTM to organize similar seminar at UiTM, which they used to have it before at UiTM to provide awareness and an avenue to make people understand and value about history and historical places. Once of PSMCS Committee Member will spearhead this task to make it happen.
